How a Modern Water Purifier Protects Your Family

A high-quality home water purifier uses multiple stages of filtration to ensure comprehensive protection. Hydrofia systems typically combine RO (Reverse Osmosis), UV (Ultraviolet), and UF (Ultrafiltration) technologies for complete purification.

The first lines of defense remove:

  • Sand, dust, rust, and suspended particles
  • Chlorine, bad odour, and unpleasant taste

This not only improves the quality of water but also protects downstream filters, extending their life and efficiency.

The RO membrane is capable of removing up to 90–95% of dissolved salts, heavy metals, pesticides, and other microscopic impurities. This is especially important for:

  • Borewell water with high TDS
  • Hard water that causes scaling in appliances
  • Areas with known heavy metal contamination

While RO handles chemical and dissolved impurities, UV focuses on biological safety. UV rays penetrate the cell walls of bacteria, viruses, and cysts, rendering them inactive and unable to cause disease.

Ultrafiltration (UF) and polishing filters act as a final barrier to any remaining fine particles, ensuring crystal-clear, great-tasting water straight from the tap.

Some Hydrofia models also include mineral cartridges that restore essential minerals and balance pH, so the water is not just pure—but also healthy.
